The past summer at Pro Skills Campus

With the days getting shorter and the temperatures decreasing, it’s about time to look back at how amazing this past summer at Pro Skills Campus was. Summer Campus was a blast, and we’re just getting started.

“I came here for the individual workouts, but the group sessions are a huge bonus for me.” – Tobias Jensen, ratiopharm ulm

As Tobias says: the group sessions have been the cherry on top for many of our athletes during the summer, mostly because we were able to mix things up. Our workouts were never about the level of skill or the gender; they were about connecting on a professional level. Each one teach one – everybody brought something to the table, and everybody was able to take something from it. #learningisforever

Preparing Olympians at Pro Skills Campus for Paris 2024

We had the great pleasure of welcoming five Olympians to Pro Skills Campus. Andreas Obst, Marie Gülich, Luisa Geiselsöder, Emily Bessoir, and Alina Hartmann worked out with Stefan Weissenböck and Kevin Kositz. Our coaches made sure to find the perfect workout for everybody. While Luisa wanted to “improve my shooting range, form, and rhythm,” Alina liked the “physicality against the guys that we often miss during the summers.” Marie and Emily found opportunities to work on their games while still recovering from knee injuries. Marie Gülich added: “The diversity is great. Just having different types of players (…) we can share some wisdom (…) and learn from each other.”

While it was the first time for the female players working out with us, it was a familiar feeling welcoming Andi Obst back. “He has some good advice and knows how I like to work,” Andi said. “He has good drills and a few things that are out of the pocket. It’s good for my skills, but it also helps me mentally.” Besides Andi, Stefan Weissenböck worked out with many familiar faces this summer. Players like Christian Sengfelder, Karsten Tadda, Daniel Keppeler, and Kevin Wohlrath are used to seeing Stefan on a regular basis.

The perfects workouts for everybody at Pro Skills Campus

While this year was the first time Stefan hosted workouts with female players only, it also meant that two young Austrians had the chance to prepare for what’s next. Sophie Kunert and Magdi Schmidt made their way to Strullendorf. With Magdi now already part of Yale University’s basketball program, Pro Skills Campus once more showed that no matter the age or skill level, we will find the right workout for you.

So, if you are interested in working out with us, contact us. Make sure to follow us on Instagram; we’re looking forward to hearing from you.

Thank you to everybody who made this such a special summer. Good luck to all of our players for the new season. We are super excited to see you again next summer!
